Muddy Boots Farmyard is our small holding set in the grounds of Harvest Barn Farmshop. This free entry attraction holds a variety of farm animals and pets, including goats, many of which were born here, spring lambs, Hebridean sheep, alpacas, chickens and chicks, ducks and ducklings, domesticated rabbits and pigs (seasonally).
As well as saying hello and feeding our friendly animals, children can let off steam and play on our small play area or larger play frame while the grown ups sit back with a cup of coffee and slice of cake, while taking in the calm surroundings (we won’t judge if you jump on the swing though).
Our farm yard is open from February until December and closed for winter during January. Entry to Muddy Boots is free and there are feed stations and hand wash stations dotted around too.
The clue is in the name though, it does sometimes get muddy! So make sure you have your best wellingtons on and go crazy! Once you’ve burnt off the energy you have, sit in our marquee or restaurant and enjoy a delicious hot meal or drink too!
