We opened Harvest Barn with the aim to allow fellow small, local businesses to showcase their amazing produce in a dedicated space, as well as offering our very own produce & goods to the public for the first time. Since opening in January 2018, we have worked with hundreds of small, independent businesses to give them a platform to sell their goods.
Our fresh fruit and vegetables all come from a local greengrocer, based in Cambridgeshire and delivered throughout the week for maximum freshness. We always try to stock the best local and seasonal produce the country has to offer and will always aim to only stock locally grown produce wherever possible (although we haven’t quite found a banana or melon grower in Peterborough yet!) Looking for something a little different? We stock a range of seasonal exotic fruits throughout the year — including favourites like guava, passion fruit, dragon fruit, and more. Perfect for adding something fresh and tropical to your table, these vibrant fruits are carefully selected when in season and available right here in our farm shop.
Our fresh milk, used in both the farm shop and coffee shop, comes straight from Peterborough Dairies, with our bread supplied by the wonderful Hambleton Bakery and eggs from Plant’s Eggs Of Stamford. We proudly use meat sourced from trusted local butchers and suppliers, ensuring quality and freshness in every dish. Our delicious butcher’s sausages and thick-cut back bacon — as served in our café — are also available to buy in the farm shop, so you can enjoy Harvest Barn quality at home.
As well as our fresh produce we stock a wide range of store cupboard staples and treats from our deli shelves. Everything from artisan chutneys and marmalades, flatbreads and crackers and down to fresh meat stock and olives, if you want it, we’ll stock it! Can’t find what you’re looking for? Just let us know! We will always try and source products for our customers, forever expanding our retail range.
So whether you’re on the look out for carrots and steaks, need to find that mystery ingredient or just fancy a tipple or sweet treat, there really is something for everyone.
Giftware & Small Business of the Month!
As well as our wonderful food and drink on offer, we have a huge range of Wrendale Designs giftware, infact we are the biggest stockist of Wrendale in our local area! So whether you’re looking for a wonderful canvas for your living room, a water bottle for those trips to work or a lovely gift for a loved one, you’re sure to find something!
As well as Wrendale, we stock a range of other giftware from suppliers such as Wraptious, who showcase small artists on a larger scale, Photography Print cards and Gainsborough Giftware. We even stock a range of children’s toys and games too!
As part of our aim to support as many fellow local businesses as possible, we’re proud to showcase our Small Business of the Month displays in the middle of the shop. Between the coffee shop and shop you’ll find two large units that stock two fabulous local sellers, selling everything from chopping boards to terrariums!

At Harvest Barn we are always looking to expand! We are currently proud stockists of beautiful garden stone work, such as busts and bird baths and a small range of bedding plants and fruit plants.
